The inspiration for Harlem Cultural Festival Foundation (HCFF) is the iconic 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival, an annual event created by Founder Tony Lawrence to celebrate the cultural contributions of the Black Diaspora while creating change for the Black community with Harlem at the center.
